About Freedom Farm
Abe “Dobie” and Sandy Nunn purchased Freedom Farm with their daughter Jolene in 1998. Since then the family has worked tirelessly to improve nearly every aspect of the farm from the riding arenas to fencing. The family live on the farm property, with Dobie and Sandy living attached to the farm for added security and safety. Dobie is a handyman extraordinaire and there truly isn't anything that he can't fix. He maintains the grounds, fencing and equipment and produces all of the farm's hay. Sandy works hard maintaining the business aspect of farming. She is a diligent bookkeeper and manages the daily details of running the farm. Sandy also works in the barn cleaning stalls and keeping up with property maintenance. She also enjoys teaching special needs lessons to children and adults and takes great pride in this work. Sandy has been a lifelong equestrian who passed her love for horses and hard worth ethic on to Jolene.
